Roommate Problems!

As one can imaging, adjusting to a roommate can be a hard task for almost anyone. However, it can be even worse if you are an only child. We have never shared a room with anyone, but now we're living away from home and sometimes we are going to be living with complete strangers!

It is a hard adjustment, but sometimes you have to realize that not everything is going to go exactly the way you want it to. I see college as a learning experience. It's giving me a chance to learn from things that I've never experienced before and although it is hard at times, I know that it will benefit me in the end.

Recently, I ended up moving out of my old dorm into a new one with a new room mate. I tried to work it out as much as possible but after a month of constant aggravation, I decided the best option for me was to move out. There were some things that we talked about but we both realized that we would both be happier if we went our separate ways. I struggled with this idea because I was determined to get through the whole situation without moving. But, you know, things happen and I could not do it anymore.

The purpose of me sharing this with you is to show you how sometimes you need to push through hardships. Other times, however, you need to realize when it is becoming too much for yourself and take control. You should not be pushing yourself to the point where you are constantly miserable. Learn to know yourself and what you can handle!
